Karst in Stone 36” x 28”  Oil on canvas   This painting was created after a special visit to Lagan Cave in Mulu, just prior to the cave being opened to the public. The cave is a spectacular smaller cave which has recently been developed for the tourists to visit and enjoy.

On Reflection 36” x 28”  Oil on canvas   On the jungle walk to Lagan Cave, Wilson came across this scene of a clearing where the sun was highlighting a muddy pool of water. The scene cried out to be painted and was the second painting from his jungle series

                                  
                                                                           
 

Genesis 36” x 28”  Oil on canvas   The rainforest jungle has been an amazing experience for Wilson, and this painting depicts the cycle of life in nature, and how the death of a leaf, and indeed many smaller leaves gives continued sustenance to the living tree.

  

‘And don’t come back!!’   36” x 28”  Oil on canvas This proboscis monkey is demonstrating displeasure with it's male companion … who has now disappeared into the forest for the peace and serenity that it affords. Wilson recognises the very close human traits that are likewise found in this very expressive proboscis monkey

Bon Appétit A Proboscis monkey named ALBERT enjoying a feed from the smorgasbord of available jungle leaves. He appears to be very satisfied with his lot in life and continues to munch on his ‘natural’ diet

                 

As an artist who has gained international recognition, WILSON looks forward to his paintings
